Mandate for Authorised and Policy-Compliant External Communication
The Neftaly Chief Development Officer (CDO) and the Neftaly Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) are jointly mandated to ensure that all external communications issued on behalf of Neftaly are fully authorised, policy-compliant, and aligned with Neftaly’s governance, branding, and regulatory frameworks.
This mandate establishes a unified authority structure for all external-facing communications, ensuring institutional integrity, reputational protection, and regulatory compliance.
1. Scope of External Communication
This mandate applies to all Neftaly external communications, including but not limited to:
- Public announcements
- Media statements and press releases
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Digital communications (websites, apps, email, SMS, social media)
- Stakeholder notices and circulars
- Client communications
- Campaigns and public engagement initiatives
- Event promotions and invitations
- Partner and sponsor communications
2. Joint Authorisation Framework
All external communications must:
- Be reviewed and approved by both the CDO and the CMO
- Comply with Neftaly internal communication policies
- Align with Neftaly brand identity, tone, and messaging standards
- Comply with regulatory, legal, and data protection requirements
- Reflect accurate, verified, and up-to-date information
No external communication may be issued without formal authorisation from the CDO and CMO.
3. Policy Compliance Requirements
The CDO and CMO shall ensure that:
- Communications adhere to Neftaly Corporate Governance Policies
- Marketing materials comply with advertising standards and consumer protection laws
- Client data is processed in line with data privacy and protection regulations
- Messages are ethical, transparent, and non-misleading
- Content reflects Neftaly’s values, mission, and strategic objectives
4. Oversight and Quality Control
The CDO and CMO are responsible for:
- Establishing external communication approval workflows
- Maintaining communication audit trails
- Implementing content review and validation procedures
- Monitoring public communications and brand reputation
- Managing communication risk and crisis response
5. Enforcement and Accountability
- Any unauthorised external communication constitutes a breach of Neftaly policy
- Disciplinary action may be taken against any individual or department issuing unauthorised communications
- All departments must route external communications through the CDO and CMO offices
