NeftalyP005-1 Purpose

NeftalyP005-1-1 The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all Neftaly Human Capital, learners, partners, and stakeholders have equal and fair access to Neftaly facilities, systems, communication platforms, educational programs, and opportunities, regardless of physical, technological, or environmental barriers.

This policy supports Neftaly’s commitment to inclusivity, equality, and human-centered design across all Royal operations.


NeftalyP005-2 Scope

NeftalyP005-2-1 This policy applies to:

  • NeftalyP005-2-1-1 All Neftaly Human Capital, Royals, Officers, and Deputy Chiefs.
  • NeftalyP005-2-1-2 All Neftaly-managed facilities, websites, e-learning systems, applications, events, and communication channels.
  • NeftalyP005-2-1-3 External stakeholders, partners, learners, and community members who engage with Neftaly programs or services.

NeftalyP005-3 Policy Statement

NeftalyP005-3-1 Neftaly is committed to ensuring universal accessibility in all its environments—digital and physical. Accessibility is fundamental to Neftaly’s mission of enabling equitable participation and opportunity for all individuals. Neftaly will proactively identify and remove barriers to access and ensure compliance with international accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1, ISO 45003, and relevant local regulations.


NeftalyP005-4 Objectives

NeftalyP005-4-1 The objectives of this policy are to:

  • NeftalyP005-4-1-1 Promote full participation and inclusion for individuals with disabilities and other accessibility needs.
  • NeftalyP005-4-1-2 Ensure all Neftaly platforms, documents, and communications are accessible and usable by everyone.
  • NeftalyP005-4-1-4 Establish procedures for accessibility assessment, improvement, and reporting.
  • NeftalyP005-4-1-5 Encourage awareness and training on accessibility principles among all Neftaly Human Capital members.

NeftalyP005-5 Roles and Responsibilities

NeftalyP005-6 Procedures

NeftalyP005-6-1 Accessibility Planning and Implementation

NeftalyP005-6-1-1 All Neftaly projects must include an accessibility assessment phase.

NeftalyP005-6-1-2 Accessibility features must be integrated into digital platforms, facilities, and materials during design and development.

NeftalyP005-6-1-3 Officers and Directors must ensure accessibility plans are aligned with Neftaly standards.

    NeftalyP005-6-2 Accessibility Requests and Accommodations

    NeftalyP005-6-2-1 Human Capital or learners requiring accommodation must complete the Accessibility Request Form (AC-F1).

    NeftalyP005-6-2-2 The Royal Director or CHCO reviews the request and determines suitable adjustments.

    NeftalyP005-6-2-3 Approved accommodations are implemented within a reasonable timeframe.

      NeftalyP005-6-3 Accessibility Audits and Monitoring

      NeftalyP005-6-3-1 Accessibility audits must be conducted annually on facilities, systems, and communication platforms.

      NeftalyP005-6-3-2 Findings must be documented using the Accessibility Audit Report Template (AC-F3).

      NeftalyP005-6-3-3 Identified barriers must be prioritized for correction and tracked using the Accessibility Action Plan Template (AC-F4).

        NeftalyP005-6 Training and Awareness

        • NeftalyP005-6-1 All Human Capital must complete mandatory accessibility awareness and inclusion training.
        • NeftalyP005-6-2 Communication materials must use plain language and accessible formatting.
        • NeftalyP005-6-3 Training records must be stored in the Accessibility Training Register (AC-F5).

        NeftalyP005-9 Compliance and Enforcement

        NeftalyP005-9-1 Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary action in accordance with Neftaly Human Capital Governance and Code of Conduct standards. Persistent inaccessibility or refusal to accommodate reasonable requests may be escalated to the CHCO and CEO for further review.


        NeftalyP005-10 Continuous Improvement and Review

        NeftalyP005-10-1 This policy and its associated procedures will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure ongoing alignment with Neftaly’s inclusivity goals, technological advancements, and legal requirements.
