NeftalyP576-1: Neftaly CEO Neftaly Malatjie Speech on the Purpose and Rationale for Launching the Neftaly Human Capital WIL Management Policy

To the Chairperson of Neftaly, Neftaly Royal Committee, Neftaly Royal Chiefs, and all Neftaly Human Capital Teams,

Kgotso a ebe le lena.

It gives me great pride to launch the Neftaly Human Capital Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Management Policy (NeftalyP576). This policy embodies Neftaly’s deep belief that learning must be connected to real-world experience.

At Neftaly, we see education and work as partners in transformation. Work Integrated Learning is the bridge between classroom knowledge and practical skills that prepare individuals for success in the labour market. Through this policy, Neftaly ensures that our learners, interns, and professionals receive structured, supported, and supervised learning opportunities that meet both academic and workplace standards.

This policy lays the foundation for how Neftaly designs, implements, and monitors WIL programmes across industries. It promotes collaboration between Neftaly, employers, educational institutions, and regulatory bodies such as the MICTSETA, QCTO, and Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

Our objective is to make Neftaly a trusted global leader in developing competent, employable, and innovative professionals who can adapt, lead, and grow in any environment.

Let us continue to create opportunities that empower people, strengthen industries, and transform communities through meaningful learning experiences.

My message shall end here.

Neftaly Malatjie | Chief Executive Officer | Neftaly
