1. Purpose
The purpose of the Neftaly Staff Energy and Utilities function is to:
- Provide reliable energy, water, and utility services to all Neftaly offices and operational sites.
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible resource utilisation.
- Support staff productivity by maintaining stable, safe, and well-regulated utility systems.
- Strengthen Neftaly’s commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management.
2. Scope
This function applies to:
- All Neftaly staff facilities, offices, training centres, schools, and operational sites.
- Energy systems such as electricity, backup power, solar units, generators, and batteries.
- Utilities including water supply, sanitation, gas, waste management, and related infrastructure.
3. Key Responsibilities
3.1 Energy Management
- Monitor electricity usage and implement consumption-optimisation strategies.
- Maintain backup power systems (generators, inverters, solar solutions) to ensure continuity.
- Conduct regular audits of energy efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with national energy regulations and Neftaly sustainability standards.
3.2 Utilities Management
- Oversee water supply systems, storage, filtration, and conservation measures.
- Maintain sanitation systems, gas pipelines, and building utilities infrastructure.
- Ensure waste disposal, recycling, and environmental compliance.
3.3 Staff Support
- Provide staff with safe, reliable access to energy, utilities, and support services.
