NeftalyP579-1: Neftaly CEO Neftaly Malatjie Speech on the Purpose and Rationale for Launching the Neftaly Human Capital BEE Management Policy

To the Chairperson of Neftaly, all Neftaly Royal Committee, all Neftaly Royal Chiefs, and all Neftaly Human Capital,

Kgotso a ebe le lena.

Today, we launch the Neftaly Human Capital BEE Management Policy (NeftalyP579), a critical framework guiding Neftaly’s commitment to empowerment, inclusivity, and equitable economic participation.

At Neftaly, transformation is not only a legislative compliance requirement — it is a moral and strategic imperative that aligns with our values of justice, equality, and sustainable development. This Neftaly Policy is designed to ensure that every aspect of our Human Capital, partnerships, procurement, enterprise development, and skills investment actively contributes to the realization of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) across all Neftaly programmes and affiliated entities.

This Neftaly Policy also demonstrates Neftaly’s responsibility as a Royal Institution that leads by example, ensuring that empowerment is embedded in the daily practices of all Neftaly Human Capital Officers, Royal Directors, and partners.

Through structured Neftaly procedures, detailed Neftaly templates, and transparent documentation processes, this policy aims to support both internal compliance and national transformation objectives.

My message shall end here.

Neftaly Malatjie | Chief Executive Officer | Neftaly
