Neftaly Royal Board Meeting with Neftaly Royal Chiefs regarding reporting requirements 11 December 2025

To the CEO of Neftaly, Neftaly Malatjie, Royal Committee Vice-Chairperson Mr. Mputla Neftaly Royal Chiefs, and Human Capital.

Following the meeting with Neftaly Royal Chiefs regarding the request for reporting as per NeftalyP238, the following indications were made by Neftaly Royal Chiefs, and the Chief has expressed that they are aware of the report that was introduced during a meeting, but are not familiar.

My message shall end here!

Challenges and Inputs by Neftaly Royal Chiefs

  • Can we implement this policy next year, since it was recently reviewed?
  • There was no formal training or orientation of the NeftalyP238 for Neftaly Human Capital and with reviews and amendments.
  • When policy is reviewed, it is reviewed by one person or all of Neftaly Human Capital.
  • Why was the policy not introduced on time?
  • The policy is reviewed on 21 November 2025
  • The Request for reports is from September to November 2025.
  • Why does the policy affect our salaries
  • Where is the meeting report for introducing the 238 policy
  • Should we go back now to amend the report in a short time
  • Why are we only being introduced to this policy when payments are supposed to be released?
  • How can this policy be practically implemented on previous reports?
  • What is the expected time frame for implementing this policy?
  • When does the policy officially take effect?
  • How long will the familiarisation or adjustment period be?
  • Why are policies constantly being changed and implemented at the last minute?
  • Will management provide training or guidance during the implementation phase?
  • If the time frame is too short, is there room for extension or adjustment?
  • Will there be a transitional period before full implementation?
  • Neftaly Human Capital is discouraged and demotivated, understanding that policies are important, but there’s a need for time to adopt changes.
  • When reporting is required, there’s a lack of understanding, but when the time for payments and delays is announced, people are expected to be understanding.
  • Marketing makes announcements every day, and “on the line of thanking people for the amazing work,” is that true?
  • Given that the policy amendment was made only recently, and should not apply retroactively, may we receive the payments for our previously completed work as originally agreed?
  • While change is generally beneficial, the high frequency of new initiatives is creating significant challenges. This rapid pace leads to confusion and prevents the timely implementation of critical projects. Furthermore, a culture where employees feel unable to voice dissent results in workload overload. This situation is compounded by a lack of comprehensive training, leaving team members uncertain about their roles and responsibilities.
  • In line with the meeting that was held at 07:00 am, Neftaly Royal Chief requested for time to be changed, and feedback wasn’t provided, only the cancellation of the meeting.
  • Delays for salary payments must be made at least a month ahead to allow enough planning.
  • Neftaly Royal Chiefs feel threatened, “We are often told that if we don’t want, we must leave. This leaves us feeling like we cannot express ourselves”.
  • Are we really following Exodus 20? Is it really being followed?
  • What made the policy to be implemented in such a short space of time, thus affecting people’s salaries, we did not follow the steps of introducing the policy to people.
  • Do we care about our employees as a leader, cause every day in the announcement, you appreciate the work that is done, which gives Human capital energy to do their job effectively.
  • How do you expect us to remain motivated when we have worked for three months without receiving payment? It is extremely discouraging and raises serious concerns about fairness and respect for our efforts. No team can be expected to perform effectively under these conditions.

Reccomendations

The Neftaly Royal Committee and Neftaly Royal Chiefs would like to formally notify you that several indicators within the relevant Neftaly policies were amended recently. While we acknowledge and appreciate the continuous improvement of our governance documents, we wish to highlight an operational concern regarding the timing and implementation of these amendments.

As discussed, the required reports track back to September, and the policy under which these reports fall only became effective from November 2025. Furthermore, additional revisions were made yesterday, and several of the affected reports have already been submitted to the Human Capital Department for their review.

Given the limited implementation window and the retrospective nature of the reporting timelines, it is not operationally practical to apply the new amendments immediately. Therefore, the Neftaly Royal Committee and Neftaly Royal Chiefs kindly request that:

  1. All reports currently due or under review will be accepted and submitted as they are, based on the policy indicators that were in effect at the time of reporting.
  2. The newly amended policy indicators be followed from January onward, ensuring that units have sufficient time to adapt their systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
  3. Ensuring that systems are fully operational to allow smooth operations processes.

This approach ensures consistency, fairness, and operational feasibility while maintaining compliance with Neftaly governance standards.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Should further clarification or alignment be required, please feel free to contact us.

Neftaly Royal Board will hand over the reports as per Neftaly Chief Human Capital Review for final review to the Neftaly Spokesperson.
