Purpose:
To provide guidance on the inclusion and management of prayer sessions focused on Grace within Neftaly’s daily and special program activities.
Scope:
This procedure applies to all Neftaly staff, volunteers, and participants who wish to take part in Neftaly’s structured prayer sessions, whether in-person or virtual.
Policy Statement:
Neftaly recognizes the importance of spiritual reflection and gratitude as part of holistic personal and professional development. The Prayer of Grace emphasizes humility, thankfulness, and empowerment in all Neftaly activities and engagements.
Procedures:
- Scheduling:
- The Prayer of Grace may be conducted at the beginning or end of daily operations, meetings, or major events.
- Coordination of time and space for prayer must align with the daily program schedule and respect the diversity of participants.
- Facilitation:
- A designated Neftaly staff member or volunteer may lead the Prayer of Grace.
- Participants may also be invited to volunteer to lead or share personal reflections of gratitude.
- Content:
- The Prayer of Grace should focus on themes of thankfulness, purpose, service, and humility.
- It should avoid denominational or exclusionary language to ensure inclusivity and respect for all faiths.
- Documentation:
- Prayer sessions may be logged as part of Neftaly’s community engagement and well-being activities.
- Attendance is voluntary and non-compulsory.
