To the CEO of Neftaly, Neftaly Malatjie, Royal Committee Vice-Chairperson- Chairperson Mr. Mputla Neftaly, Royal Chief,s and Human Capital.
Kgotso a be le lena!
I hereby submit this formal communication to outline the challenges encountered during the month of November 2025 that affected the delivery of certain obligations under NeftalyCOR, as well as to present my recovery plan to address the resulting delays.
During the week of 12–14 November 2025, I facilitated a scheduled training programme on Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills as part of our ongoing client engagements. This programme was successfully delivered; however, it required intensive preparation, facilitation, and post-training reporting within a limited timeframe.
During the period from 17 to 21 November 2025, I was on medical sick leave. Despite my condition, I made every possible effort to continue working on outstanding reports and attending to urgent operational matters remotely, where my health permitted.
On 24–25 November 2025, I facilitated a Creative Problem Solving training programme, followed by additional facilitation of the same programme on 26–27 November 2025. These sessions were undertaken under exceptional circumstances due to capacity and competency challenges within the NeftalyCHAR division. Furthermore, client complaints regarding facilitation quality compelled my direct intervention to safeguard Neftaly’s professional reputation and to ensure contractual obligations were met. Given the organisation’s operational financial requirements, I found it strategically necessary to personally assume these responsibilities to avoid further reputational and financial risk.
Deliverables for the week of the 01 – 05 December 2025 were also affected due to the internet, and I plan to work an additional week of December to recover the work and ensure that I meet the required deliverables.
I have also recently become aware of the new reporting template and updated reporting requirements. In compliance with these changes, I am currently revising and redeveloping previous reports to ensure full alignment with the new standards. This process is extensive and is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
Collectively, these circumstances have temporarily impacted my ability to meet all assigned COR-related events and task deliverables within the original timelines. However, I wish to assure the Board of my full commitment to rectifying the delays. To recover outstanding work, I will be utilising the first week of the December closure period to complete and submit all delayed tasks and reports.
I take full accountability for my responsibilities and remain deeply committed to the strategic objectives, governance standards, and performance expectations of Neftaly. I respectfully request that the Royal Board Committee consider my recovery strategy and remedial actions with understanding in light of the exceptional operational and personal health challenges experienced during the month under review.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support. I remain available to provide any further clarification as may be required.
My message shall end here!
Clifford Legodi
Neftaly Chief Operations Officer
